Bio
Born in Los Angeles and raised in San Diego, Jason Brown (aka JB Saxx) is a multifaceted force in the entertainment industry with a 30-year career spanning music, film, and television. Jason’s screen credits include work in major television series and a featured appearance in the film Nina, starring Zoe Saldana. His versatile voice has also been featured in various voice-over programs.
As a musician, Jason holds a historic 20-year relationship with the San Diego Padres, notably serving as the first artist to perform the National Anthem at the opening of Petco Park in 2004. Since then, he has performed anthems for several professional sports franchises, including the LA Lakers, LA Clippers, LA Sparks, San Diego FC, the San Diego Gulls, and the Denver Nuggets. Many of these performances have been broadcast nationally on Apple TV and Bally Sports Network.
His stage presence is equally distinguished, having opened for icons like John Legend, Gerald Albright, and Norman Brown, and famously jamming with Stevie Wonder. Whether headlining at Humphreys by the Bay, appearing on KUSI News, or performing at high-end destination weddings in Maui, Cabo, and Cancun, Jason brings a sophisticated "Urban-Luxe" aesthetic to every event. From soulful saxophone sets to professional DJing and emceeing, JB delivers a world-class entertainment experience refined by three decades of excellence.
